A little girl has been reunited with her cat after it went missing nine months ago. Katya Harmon, 10, was devastated when her cat Timmy disappeared.
As the days and weeks went by, she thought she'd never see her best friend again. Until nine months later, when, thanks to his microchip, Cats Protection was able to track him down.
Katya, from Woking, Surrey, couldn't believe her eyes when Timmy was returned home, with the heartwarming moment being caught on camera by her doting mum.
After a difficult year for the family, in which Katya's father Perry died of cancer, Katya's mother Svitlana Harmon said Timmy's return had "brought some light back".
