Millions of benefit claimants will begin receiving their £10 Christmas bonus from Monday, December 4. The one-off bonus will be sent to all eligible claimants in the run-up to Christmas.
The payment is tax-free and will have no impact on any other benefit payments in December. The payment will also be made automatically so there is no need to apply.
Furthermore, if two people in a household are separately claiming benefits, they will receive £10 each.
