A local Greek bar owner has spoken after a body was found during the search for the missing television doctor Michael Mosley.
The 67-year-old celebrity had last been seen by his companions at Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday, before he set off for a stroll towards the island's centre.
The yet-to-be-identified body was located under a fence encircling a bar at Agia Marina beach, an area characterised by its rugged, hilly landscape that slopes down to the waterfront.
According to bar staff, helicopters have been scouring the region "every day". Ilias Tsavaris, 38, the manager of the Agia Marina bar, was one of the first to spot the body, alongside reporters, after something caught the eye of the local mayor near the bar's fence, prompting him to inform the employees.
