BBC to honour Michael Mosley with two programmes after doctor's tragic death

The BBC has confirmed it will broadcast two programmes in tribute to the remarkable broadcasting career of Dr Michael Mosley.

The 67-year-old tragically passed away last week while returning from a beach trip during a family holiday on the Greek island of Symi.Following an extensive search, his body was discovered on the morning of Sunday, June 9.

Since then, tributes have been flooding in from the public, medical professionals and the broadcasting industry.The BBC has announced that it will air two 'special' programmes in honour of the late doctor. 'Michael Mosley The Doctor Who Changed Britain' will be shown on BBC One this Friday at 8pm, reflecting on his 40-year career.'There's Only One Michael Mosley' will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds this Friday at 11am.
