A Metrolink station has been closed following reports of a 'stabbing'. There's a large police cordon in place at Radcliffe tram stop tonight (Sunday) and forensics officers have been spotted at the scene.
It comes amid unconfirmed reports two teenagers have been stabbed during a fight between two groups. Metrolink tweeted: "Due to a police incident, services are unable to stop at Radcliffe tram stop. READ MORE: Fresh flooding chaos on Oxford Road after another burst water main "Passengers are advised to board/alight services at Bury or Whitefield. "Please check back for further updates." Part of the car park and the pedestrian entrance to the tram stop, off Spring Lane, have been cordoned off.
