With snow falling across the UK and temperatures dropping, the Met Office has issued a number of warnings across the UK in the lead up to the weekend.
These include both yellow and amber warnings for rain, snow, and ice and could see disruption across the UK in the coming days.
It comes as the Met Office has named Storm Bert ahead of the weekend as wind speeds in parts of the country climb. The Met Office is predicting that the UK could be hit by 70mph winds, snow and rain over the weekend.
Parts of the UK such as northern Scotland are also expecting 2-5cm of snow. This could cover wide areas in northern Scotland over the coming days. "Heavy rain through Saturday and Sunday, especially in southern and western parts of the UK, will also bring impacts for some with a number of warnings in place.
