Mesut Ozil has received well wishes from his former Arsenal team-mates after undergoing a successful surgery on his back.Ozil, now of Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Basaksehir, has been plagued by back problems in recent years which have massively limited his time on the pitch.
The 33-year-old went under the knife this week to try and resolve them once and for all.And he gave fans a positive update on social media yesterday (October 3), posting a picture of himself in his hospital bed giving a thumbs up.
He wrote: "Today's surgery went well.
