dailystar.co.ukMesut Ozil has agreed a deal with an Arsenal fan that will see his newborn child named after him. The German was back among the assists at the weekend when he set up Alexandre Lacazette against West Ham in a 1-0 win at the Emirates.
But he still had time to make one supporter's day and possibly a child's life on social media. A plucky fan on Twitter went to extreme lengths to get the attention of his hero.
So much so that he promised to name his child after him if the German replied to him. That seemed to do the trick, with Ozil replying that he demands he is shown the birth certificate when the child is born.
