"Bickering" between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton became such that the Queen was driven between palaces to stop it, an author claims.

Royal author Tom Quinn claims Her Majesty was taken from Buckingham Palace to Kensington Palace to "try to stop the bickering" as told by a palace insider, the Daily Star reports.

Suggestions of a rift between the sisters-in-law have been covered in a number of books on the younger royals, though with differing accounts.
