Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have put on a united front after arriving hand in hand to a joyous reception to watch the events of the Invictus Games 2023 unfold today.The couple were greeted by loud cheers in the arena as they took their seats courtside to watch the wheelchair basketball competition.The 42-year-old duchess was styled in a pair of cream tailored shorts by Staud, a sweater blazer by J Crew and flat Chanel slingbacks as she and Harry waved to spectators during their first appearance of the day.Before taking seats alongside the Australian competitors, Meghan was seen hugging a fan before the couple started dancing along to the music ahead of Australia taking on Ukraine.They also posed for selfies with keen fans who were eager to get some snaps with the pair, the Mirror reports.
At the end of the match, Harry and Meghan mingled with the school children who took part in a sporting race as they handed out medals to the kids.It is believed the Sussexes will later be meeting with members of Team Nigeria with the duchess recently discovering her own Nigerian ancestry, which was something she revealed on her axed Spotify podcast Archetypes.Harry made reference to it during his speech at the opening ceremony on Saturday as he joked that things had become a little competitive between him and Meghan since learning more about her family history.
