Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been slammed and told to "practice what you preach" as their environmental beliefs have been questioned after the couple took multiple international flights this month alone.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to have taken seven flights between them in the last two weeks despite the couple having regularly spoken out about the importance of tackling climate change.Harry jetted out from LA to Heathrow on Thursday September 7 to attend the WellChild awards in London before heading out to Germany the following day for the opening ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games.His wife Meghan followed suit a few days later as she hopped on a plane to London on Monday September 11 before joining a connecting flight to Germany on Tuesday, the Express reports.It's now been reported that the couple also enjoyed a short trip to Portugal together which they flew out to on Sunday 17 after the games finished up in Dusseldorf.They then caught a flight to London’s Heathrow on Wednesday 20 before boarding their seventh and final flight to LA.Their back to back flights in such a short period of time comes after the 39-year-old Duke spoke out about environmental issues and his love for nature for a special edition of Vogue magazine in 2019.He said: "We are the one species on this planet that seems to think that this place belongs to us, and only us.”Longstanding royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claims that their recent series of jet-setting appears at odds with their environmental credentials.The expert exclusively told Express.co.uk: “If you preach about climate change, as Harry and Meghan do, you should, where possible, practise what you preach."He added: “In 2019 in a conversation in Vogue with
