McDonald's is set to reopen drive-thru restaurants in Scotland from next week. The fast food chain is bringing back another 975 branches across the UK, with plans to roll out delivery up north.
Fans of the fast food chain were outraged when McDonald's snubbed Scotland by only opening chains down south as part of their phased comeback plan amid the pandemic.
But in a statement today, McDonald's said they plan to reopen every Scottish drive-thru restaurant between June 2 and June 4.
A spokesperson said: "We can today announce that by 4 June, 1019 of our restaurants will have reopened, either for Drive Thru or McDelivery. "This means every Drive Thru in the UK and Ireland will reopen between Tuesday and Thursday next week and we will
