When McDonald's restaurants reopened following the coronavirus lockdown, a number of measures were put in place to follow government guidelines, including a reduced menu to help control demand.

Popular items like McNuggets, burgers from the classic Big Mac to the new Triple Cheeseburger, milkshakes - if your ever fortunate to catch the machine working - McFlurry's and of course the beloved hash browns and breakfast muffins have returned to fulfil our takeaway needs.

But some customers are outraged by the lack of vegetarian options. Many customers claim that staff have told them there has been a "national shortage" when they ask for the Veggie Dippers.
