McDonald's announces reopening date as 15 stores prepare to serve food again

McDonald’s is re-opening a limited number of stores on May 13. In a matter of days, 15 British outlets will begin serving customers again.

For now, the fast food giant is offering delivery only. This means customers will have to order via services including Uber Eats.

They will be limited in what they can order when McDonald’s re-opens. The fast food giant is running reduced hours and won’t be offering its entire menu for now.

Paul Pomroy, McDonald’s CEO UK and Ireland, said: “In March we took the decision to temporarily close our restaurants in the UK and Ireland for the safety of our employees and customers.
