McDonald's breaks silence on re-opening plans as trials take place this week

McDonald’s has been closed for more than a month. On March 23, the fast food giant shut its doors during the coronavirus pandemic.

And ever since then, customers have been longing to know when they can get hold of a Big Mac again. While bosses are yet to confirm a date that McDonald’s will return, they’ve revealed that they are exploring the possibility of limited re-opening.

This week, a few stores are being open so testing can take place. These won’t be open to the public for now – but if trials are successful, selected outlets could start operating again in the near future.
