McDonald's has confirmed the news that everyone has been waiting for - and announced that it is to reopen some stores in the UK.
In a statement on Friday afternoon, the fast food chain said that 15 selected branches will reopen to to the public on 13 May, and will be offering a reduced menu for delivery only.
Paul Pomroy, head of McDonald's in the UK and Ireland, said: "We are working hard to reopen more restaurants... Slowly, but safely we will return.
