McDonald's sets date for reopening UK restaurants for delivery

McDonald's has spoken out on plans to reopen a number of UK restaurants for delivery after shutting all of its sites in March due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The fast-food chain said it will reopen 15 restaurants with a limited menu this month, with the locations set to be announced next week.

It comes as the business has spent the past seven days "testing out" a new model that will ensure social distancing measures are enforced across branches.
