Matt Hancock has denied claims that areas in England are unlikely to move down a tier 'this side of Christmas'.The Health Secretary said every part of the country will be fully assessed in two weeks time to see if they meet the criteria to relax restrictions.During the Downing Street Press Conference on Monday afternoon, he was asked: "Realistically, is there any chance of any part of England being able to move down a tier this side of Christmas?"Isn't it much more likely that anywhere will have to wait until well into January for any chance of moving down a tier because you have to work out what the effect of Christmas relaxation has been?"The health secretary replied: “Of course you’ve got to take into account that Christmas is coming.
