Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Mason Greenwood is the standout Manchester United name on the 100-man longlist for the 2020 Golden Boy award. The 18-year-old forward has enjoyed a breakout season at Old Trafford, scoring 12 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions as he has provided valuable backup for and occasionally replaced Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
The Golden Boy award aims to find the best player under the age of 21 plying their trade in Europe, and was first won by the Dutch star Rafael van Vaart back in 2003.
Presided over by Italian publication Tuttosport, the award has also gone to the likes of Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas and Sergio Aguero in the past.
