Martin Lewis urges people working from home to claim tax break as HMRC confirms over 279,000 have already applied

Last month, the money-saving expert revealed how HMRC confirmed that if an employee has been asked to work from home by their employer, for at least one day since April 6, they could claim tax relief for a whole year.
On Thursday’s show, Martin exclusively revealed that 729,500 workers across the UK have signed up for the tax break in just three weeks, according to HMRC.
Martin said: “Go do it, easy easy money, if you’re entitled.” The founder of MoneySavingExpert.com explained how the tax break is available for “employees who are required.
