Martin Lewis responds after fans get 'ridiculously worked up' over BBC bias poll 'Chill!'

Martin Lewis, 48, has responded to his "ridiculously worked up" fans after he posted a Twitter poll asking for his followers to vote on whether they believed the BBC is biased.

Eight hours after he posted the poll Martin was forced to address the behaviour of some of his followers as it turned into a heated debate.Taking to the social media platform, Martin addressed his 1.1million Twitter fans.He wrote: "Some getting ridiculously worked up over this."The money expert went on to bluntly address the situation, saying some social media users had become "abusive" over his earlier tweet.Martin continued: "I've said it (many many times) before & will again, it's not a statistically representative sample of uk society, its just m'daily twitter.
