Writing in his weekly newsletter on MoneySavingExpert, he explained how couples who have been married for four years or more only have a few days left to apply for Marriage Tax Allowance - a little-known perk from HMRC.

The allows a person to share their personal tax-free allowance with their partner every year - and it can be backdated up to four years.
