In the final episode of The Money Show LIve on ITV, the consumer champion urged married couples and those in a civil partnership to take advantage of a tax break worth hundreds of pounds before time runs out.
It is a message echoed recently by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) encouraging people across the UK to apply for Marriage Tax Allowance before the end of the 2020/21 financial year on April 5.
The allowance is a great boost for married couples where one person is earning less than the annual tax-free allowance of £1,250.
