Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has admitted Paul Tierney “should have waited” before blowing the half-time whistle during Liverpool’s clash with Manchester United.With a minimum of one minute added on at the end of the first half at Anfield, Tierney called time after 55 seconds.Sadio Mane appeared to be clean through on goal when the whistle was blown, angering Liverpool fans and boss Jurgen Klopp.And Clattenburg, who spent 13 years as the man in the middle in the Premier League, admits Tierney should have kept playing."There was only one moment of slight controversy and it came right on half-time," Clattenburg wrote in his Daily Mail column."One minute of added-time was shown and the TV clock indicated 55 seconds had been played.
