Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has continued his recovery from injury on Monday as he aims to make his Manchester United return this coming weekend.
Rashford has yet to play a single minute of competitive football so far this season after undergoing the knife in the summer to finally fix a long-standing shoulder injury.
The operation was a success and the 23-year-old striker has, as of yet, suffered no setbacks in his recovery as he returned to full-contact training over a week ago on Friday, October 1.
There was yet more progress on the following Wednesday as Rashford returned to the pitch in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackburn Rovers, starting the game and scoring two goals.
