Fulham manager Marco Silva doesn't believe Aleksandar Mitrovic will be any more motivated to face Manchester United on Sunday because of the red card he received when the sides last met.
United knocked Fulham out of the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage when they met in March. United won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Bruno Fernandes and a goal from Marcel Sabitzer.
There was a huge moment in the encounter after Fulham had gone ahead thanks to Mitrovic's goal. Willian handled Jadon Sancho's goalbound shot on the line and, after consulting VAR, referee Chris Kavanagh sent the Brazilian off. Kavanagh immediately showed the Serbia international a straight red card and he too was dismissed as the Cottagers were reduced to nine men.
