United knocked Fulham out of the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage when they met in March. United won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Bruno Fernandes and a goal from Marcel Sabitzer.
There was a huge moment in the encounter after Fulham had gone ahead thanks to Mitrovic's goal. Kavanagh immediately showed the Serbia international a straight red card and he too was dismissed as the Cottagers were reduced to nine men.
