Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has given his nod of approval to Olympic great Usain Bolt after the Jamaican superstar replicated his celebration at Soccer Aid on Sunday.
Bolt managed to break the deadlock for the World XI against England when he slotted past former Liverpool and Portsmouth goalkeeper David James after 24 minutes.
Bolt, an avid Manchester United fan, jogged over to the corner of Old Trafford before using a celebration Rashford has so often used this season, pointing his finger to his head.
Rashford has now acknowledged the gesture and reacted to the moment online. Taking to Twitter, the striker wrote: ‘Rash X Bolt’ along with a series of emojis including a lightning bolt and a finger pointing to a head.
