Manchester United have reportedly set their maximum bid for Mason Mount at £60million. United manager Erik ten Hag is keen to add a new centre-forward and a dynamic midfielder to his squad in the summer transfer window, with Chelsea midfielder Mount a prime candidate for the latter.
GiveMeSport claims that United, who have agreed personal terms with Mount, will not be willing to go above that figure due to their 'restricted' transfer policy.
But Mount, who has still not signed fresh terms at Stamford Bridge, could give manager Erik ten Hag what he is looking for in midfield - alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes.
But Chelsea, who have Mount contracted until 2024, are said to be after a sizable fee for their academy graduate.
