England is braced for potential power cuts as an intense 15-hour snowstorm threatens to batter up to 11 major cities this Monday and Tuesday.
Households have been cautioned of possible disruption, with an Arctic blast poised to affect travel arrangements and pose a substantial threat to power networks across various regions.
On top of this, the Met Office has enforced a 15-hour yellow weather warning for ice and snow starting from 7pm on Monday until 10am on Tuesday.
Scotland will encounter the snowy conditions even sooner, with a weather alert activated on Sunday. A total of 13 major English cities could be impacted by the alert, involving Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Stoke, Chester, Lincoln, Derby, York, Durham, and Hull.
