As heavy rain sweeps across Greater Manchester the Met Office has issued warnings indicating when the named storm is likely to hit.
Yellow and amber warnings are in place over the weekend, with Thursday evening seeing the region battered by heavy rain. Warnings have said that there is a 'slight chance' that power cuts will occur in regions affected by the yellow warning, including Greater Manchester.
It added that there is also a 'slight chance' or 'injuries and danger to life' as a result of high winds. Thursday evening saw widespread travel disruption across the region due to heavy rain and strong winds.
The poor weather conditions saw some roads submerged in parts of Rossendale.
