The second goal, in particular, was a big mistake from the Spaniard as he let Mason Mount's shot slip underneath his hand. It was a similar error to one De Gea made against Tottenham Hotspur last month in United’s first game back.
After the game some fans and pundits were quick to call for De Gea to be dropped from United’s starting line-up, and possibly be replaced by Henderson next season.
