Since then, the England international has regrouped and become a starter for the Reds but Raphael Varane's future seems in doubt with Jonny Evans currently preferred to him.
One option which is thought to be on the table for United is attempting to sign Todibo. The 23-year-old is a mainstay at the Sir Jim Ratcliffe-owned club and is earning admirers far and wide thanks to his performances.
