Manchester United are 'keen' on signing AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana. That is according to a report by Tutto Juve, which claims the French club will 'demand at least £26million' for his signature.
United are set to make signing a new central midfielder one of their leading priorities in 2024. The Reds, as reported by the Manchester Evening News in September, have identified four key areas that they want to strengthen next year, with the centre of midfield among them.
The club are already said to be hunting for Casemiro's long-term successor. They have been linked with a whole host of midfielders from right across Europe. Fofana, 24, has gone from strength to strength since joining Monaco from RC Strasbourg in 2020, making more than 150 appearances for the club.
