Erik ten Hag believes players are at breaking point after seeing another player joining Manchester United's lengthy injury list, with Mason Mount a doubt for Sunday's trip to Everton after picking up a knock in training.
United have been beset by injuries all season and on a day when Luke Shaw is providing some relief by returning to the squad for the first time since August, Mount has added to Ten Hag's problems in midfield.
Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are already sidelined with muscle injuries, which will leave United with just Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat and Bruno Fernandes as fit midfielders for the trip to Goodison Park.
