United returned to action to finally conclude their last-16 tie against the Austrian side and, despite a brief scare when Phillipp Wiesinger put the visitors ahead with a stunning strike, Solskjaer's team booked their place in the next round with a 2-1 win, 7-1 on aggregate.
It was Lingard himself who grabbed the equaliser just two minutes after the Wiesinger's strike - with Anthony Martial grabbing the winner - as he raced through on goal and calmly slotted the ball below the goalkeeper.
