Ralf Rangnick has downplayed the possibility of Manchester United reinforcing their squad in the January transfer window. New interim manager Rangnick was present for United's 3-2 Premier League win over Arsenal on Thursday night and will take charge for the first time against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Rangnick is renowned for his recruitment at former club RB Leipzig and was linked with the United football director role prior to John Murtough's appointment in March.
United have a large squad and Daniel James was their only permanent sale in the summer and they are three points off the final Champions League qualifying place.
