Marcus Rashford has been left out of the Manchester United matchday squad for the fourth game running for this teatime's clash with Wolves at Molineux.
Rashford, who recently said he was "ready for a new challenge", has not featured for United since the 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on December 12.
Addressing the ongoing situation with the England international, Amorim, speaking to Sky Sports earlier this week, said: "It is a hard situation. "I understand these players have a lot of people around them, making choices that are not the first idea from the player.
They chose to do the interview as it is not just Marcus." Rashford's future, understandably, is now a key topic ahead of the January transfer window opening for business next week.
