Manchester United are reportedly refusing to rule out sales for academy stars Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho. United, who sold midfielder Scott McTominay to Napoli in the summer, could be looking to strike similar deals for both Mainoo and Garnacho, which in turn would help balance the books regarding the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rulings (PSR).
According to The Athletic, INEOS are not 'actively' looking to sell the young duo but would consider offers if any club could meet their estimation for either player.
The future of Marcus Rashford also continues to hang in the balance, given the 27-year-old would also count as 'pure profit' should a sale be agreed in January.
Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have both shown individual interest in the player. The Daily Mail reported that Mainoo's ongoing contract situation is being monitored by Chelsea and MEN Sport understands the 19-year-old is 'unhappy' with the contract offer presented to him by the club.
