The Portugal legend has told Juventus he wants to leave the club this summer, with Massimiliano Allegri confirming that he will not play for the Serie A giants again during his press conference on Friday.
It was believed that Ronaldo was close to joining Man City before the deadline, following Harry Kane's collapsed move to the Etihad Stadium earlier this week.
However during his press conference for the Wolves game this weekend, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to rule out a move for the striker.
