Manchester United are looking to reduce their weekly wage bill following the return of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
The forward is back at Old Trafford after 12 years, lured by a contract believed to be worth £480,000-a-week as Juventus are paid £12.85million (€15m) with another £6.86m (€8m) in add-ons.
And it could push out Dan James, with the Welshman receiving a lot of interest from Premier League clubs for a loan spell this season.While Diogo Dalot could also be back on the loan path, with Borussia Dortmund chasing his signature after Ronaldo’s international team-mate played for AC Milan last season.
