Manchester United duo Edinson Cavani and Facundo Pellistri have been named in the Uruguay squad for their upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Chile.
Uruguay, who are currently fourth in the South American Football Confederation ( CONMEBOL) table, will be looking to complete the job and reach the World Cup in Qatar later this month.
The top-four teams automatically qualify for the finals, whilst the team that finishes fifth in the table will enter the inter-confederation play-offs.
Cavani, who has been capped by Uruguay more than 125 times, scoring 54 goals, has been included in the squad despite missing large portions of action in the last few months.
