Manchester United reportedly remain confident that Barcelona will lower their asking price as their pursuit of Frenkie de Jong continues.

The two clubs though remain a fair way apart in their respective valuations of the player. According to The Guardian though, United are confident Barcelona will eventually give in and lower their fee, but that the La Liga side have already rejected a bid for De Jong.
