A well-known Manchester engraver is celebrating 45 years in the industry - and it just happens to coincide with a move to brand new premises too.
John Dearden has been inscribing jewellery, glassware and watches in central Manchester since 1978, but he considers himself 'the new kid on the block' at his new location in Chinatown.
However, what will remain unchanged is the same quality of service he offers - after all, he’s had plenty of years to hone his craft.
John first established his engraving business operating out of House of Fraser - or Kendals, as it was known back then - where he remained until the department store sadly went into administration.
