Manchester Day on Holiday is coming to the city

Everyone is invited to enjoy a full day of eclectic and lively Manchester Day on Holiday activities on July 29. The city centre is the focus point of all the fun from 12pm to 6pm, before the party moves up to Stevenson Square in the Northern Quarter for the new, night time showcase.
Councillor Pat Karney, chair of Manchester Day, said:“This year’s Manchester Day on Holiday promises to be the highlight of the city’s jam-packed summer schedule. “The Council and Walk the Plank have been working hard to ensure that this year’s will be the best outing to date and it will be.
Where else can you enjoy an immersive zoo, a seaside, live performances, a craft market all in one place?!" Deansgate Deansgate will be completely transformed into a seaside destination, complete with a Helter-skelter, a Venetian Gondola, sand sculptures and even passport control.
