All Star Lanes, the bowling alley bar in the heart of Manchester city centre, has announced its immediate closure.The venue at the Great Northern Warehouse had managed to reopen as a bar and restaurant after lockdown restrictions were eased, but had been unable to resume its bowling sessions under the latest government guidelines.The American-style diner and tenpin lanes opened in 2013 and once hosted Rihanna and Drake after Drake's show at Manchester Arena, as well as welcoming Lady Gaga and the Corrie cast.The site was rescued after the company behind it went into administration last year, but has now bowed out with immediate effect.Bowling alleys were due to be allowed to reopen on August 1, but the latest phase of lockdown easing was.
