The Manchester Arena bomber was flagged twice to MI5 in the months leading up to the atrocity and was pals with a suspected terrorist once arrested for a failed suicide attack.

The inquiry into the bombing heard Salman Abedi, who killed 22 people, was with extremist Mansour al-Anezi, on his deathbed in 2017.
