He seems to have stepped into the hygiene device so that the mask covered his genitals, while the earloops circled his thighs in an improvised version of a thong.The man's distinctive back tattoo made him a recognisable figure even among the hundreds of shoppers on the busy street.
Many were seen staring in astonishment at the unusual use of the mask. July 24 marks the first day that face masks are mandatory in all shops, banks and other enclosed public spaces in England, like they have been on public transport for some weeks.
