Man walks into Tesco store pleading for help after 'stabbing'

A seriously injured man walked into a Tesco pleading for help after he was allegedly stabbed on Sunday morning.Police and forensics swarmed the area in Radcliffe on Water Street, outside the Tesco Express store, shortly after 11.30am to reports of a man being seriously injured.

The Manchester Evening News reports the victim had been stabbed in the attack. The 34-year-old was then rushed to hospital from the scene as an investigation was launched.

Water Street was closed off with crime scene investigators conducting enquiries throughout Sunday afternoon, with a cordon in place on nearby Grosvenor Street.The Tesco store was closed in the aftermath as an air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene.
