Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Marcus Rashford has backed Edinson Cavani to help Manchester United get back on top. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side are in dire need of three points against Newcastle on Saturday following their dreadful performance against Spurs, but they will have to make do without their new striker.

Having said that, Rashford has backed the 33-year-old to provide some welcome reinforcements when he does enter the action at Old Trafford - mentioning successful United teams of the past.The 22-year-old believes that all title-winning sides need to have three or four clinical forwards at their disposal, with Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood also impressing in front of goal last season.
