Jesse Lingard has struggled for consistency at Manchester United. The England international has been criticised in the past for failing to add regular goals and assists to his game and has subsequently dropped out of Gareth Southgate’s plans.
The 27-year-old is reaching the peak of his career and is running out of time to turn his spell at Old Trafford in to a success, something which he is aware of.
Lingard has now opened up on why he might have struggled in the past, admitting that United need to continue improving if they are to win a major trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
